- Why is the platform priced per seat but modules priced per firm?
- Seats cover the system of record every user touches. Modules are capacity you switch on for the whole firm — one paralegal running the medical chronology module benefits every file, so charging per seat for it would just penalise you for adding staff.
- Can we pay per matter instead of monthly?
- On the heavy modules, yes. Anything with a metered price can be bought per matter, per package or per gigabyte instead of monthly. Firms usually start metered and move to a subscription once volume is predictable.
- Do you charge for the client portal or e-signature?
- No. The core modules — intake, document intelligence, drafting, deadlines, client portal, e-sign, audit log and billing assist — are included with every plan.
- What does onboarding actually involve?
- We migrate your templates into the drafting engine, capture your playbook positions, configure intake for your matter types and train your staff. Firms that skip this end up using a generic template library, which is the thing that makes automation fail.
- Is US and Canadian coverage priced differently?
- No. A module costs the same whichever jurisdiction it runs under; the rules, forms and calculations behind it change automatically based on the matter's jurisdiction.
